Detoxing From Our Very Polluted World

Detox has to be the most important starting place for good health. We are subjected to a cocktail of toxins daily – chlorine vapor through our shower water, heavy metals in our drinking water, herbicides, pesticides and hormones in our food, benzines in the air we breathe, mercury through our fillings and vaccinations….the list goes on. The immune system can’t protect us without help in eliminating these toxins and known carcinogens from our body.
In 1973, a study conducted by the Department of Occupational Health at Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem found that Read more
More About the Flu Shot. Do You Really Need It?
January 20, 2009 by Carol Hansen · Leave a Comment
Every where I go, I see advertisements for getting a flu shot, the bank, grocery store, post office. They even have drive thru flu shots now. Well, let’s look at the ingredients…
The Flu vaccine contains the following:
- Mercury
- Aluminum (Aluminum is added to promote an antibody response. It is a neurotoxin that may play a role in Alzheimer’s disease.)
- Formaldehyde (cancer causing agent)
- Ethylene glycol (antifreeze)
Do we really need to add this stuff to our body. Aren’t we getting enough toxins and metals just from the air, food, water, etc.? And they promote this especially to older people and youngsters, who don’t have the strongest immune systems anyway. BAD!
Here are a few things you can do to help prevent the flu without exposing yourself to the shot.
To prevent the flu:
- Avoid white foods like sugar, flour, etc.. They suppress your immune system.
- Avoid Omega-6 vegetable oils like corn, safflower, sunflower, peanut, canola, and soybean oil. Americans consume way more of these oils than are necessary for good health. In large amounts they can be powerful immune suppressants.
- Make sure you’re taking a well-balanced multivitamin/mineral on a daily basis. We suggest a liquid vitamin like EDN. Liquid Vitamins are absorbed by the body almost 98%, compared to tablets or capsules which are only absorbed about 10/15 percent.
- Eat garlic and onions. You can always freshen your breath. They boost your immune system.
- Manage stress. This is huge. Stress will burn you out and your health along with it.
- Exercise. Simply walking for 20 minutes a day has huge results for your overall well being.
- Get enough rest. Make sure you get enough sleep for you. Everyone is different.
- Last, but not least. Wash your hands! Viruses often spread from touching contaminated objects, like doorknobs, phones, shared computer keyboards, and shaking hands..
Hope that helps. Start educating yourself. Your health depends on it.
